About This Trend
In the post-pandemic U.S., a dominant trend is the adoption of a hybrid work lifestyle combining remote and in-office work. A2023 Pew Research Center surveyfound that 41 percent of remote-capable workers follow hybrid schedules in 2023, up from 35 percent in January 2022. During that time the number of people working from home full-time decreased from 43 to 35 percent, but this is still significantly higher than the seven percent who worked from home pre-pandemic.
